Belur -Halebeedu Bike ride...

Six bikes one ride..........

This what I love about travel-difference..Last time it was sea by the side, now its lush green paddy fields.

Hide the sun.

The intricate stone sculptures of Halebeedu.

Can spend days togather just to undersatnd the imagination of the sculptors and what they are trying to say. They are not just some random stone carvings .Each has a theme or story behind it.By the way thats us bikers.

This is the last leg of the travel and only 3 of us went for it.We followed the beautiful sky and the rugged road to ...........

........reach this amazing waterfall.

Will post the infamous naked god Gomateeshware and other photos from the same ride in a few days..

Wow. You are so lucky you get to travel as often as you do. That road looks pretty cool- the rust color is really nice.

thanks for sharing!

@Kris:Yeh thats my name. Those carvings are really fascinating.First u take a guide to get some info abt the history of the place and temple. Then we can be on our own and spend hours togather just trying to make connections and interpretations abt the sculptures and stories they represent..
